I had a fantastic time at the hotel, although there were a few hiccups. The rooms were lovely, especially the Castle Suite, but the noise from the generator in the west wing was a drawback. The service was a mix - top-class in some areas but disappointing in others. The location was pretty good, although the view of a construction site from our room wasn't ideal. The dining was of high quality, but there were some letdowns. The facilities, especially the spa, were excellent.

Although the price for the night was over £200, the room was not ready with the cot we had requested, and it was dirty with a big bunch of hair on the pillows where we slept all night.
